FRIDAY, August 20th 8-9:30pm ~ FREEDOM IN EVERY BREATH, ECSTATIC BREATHWORK at The Hub

FRIDAY, August 20th 8-9:30pm  ~ FREEDOM IN EVERY BREATH, ECSTATIC BREATHWORK at The Hub

Every moment contains an opening into the bliss, stillness, and dynamic expansion that is always pulsing through every atom of Reality.  How do you enter these openings?  How do you directly taste this Freedom for yourself?  What are the tools for cultivating your ability to recognize these openings, trust them, and enter them more fully with every breath?

Breath Deep. Heart Awake. Body Soft. Attention Clear.

Join Us.

These workshops are for all levels of experience and are nothing less than a tool for setting yourself free.  We’ll use a simple yet powerful breathing meditation as the linchpin for the work.  I call it ECSTATIC BREATHWORK.

When:       FRIDAY night 8/20/10  8-9:30pm
((Arrive early to avoid being late))

These ECSTATIC BREATHWORKSHOPS are nothing less than a journey deeper into the experience and expression of who and what you are, a journey into the Heart of Freedom within.  Through a simple and powerful breathing meditation, you gain and deepen the tools for seeing past your former limitations, gain muscle for being your own best ally, teacher, and healer, and deeply taste a place free of insecurity, full of self-love.

SCOTT

30 Days + of Gratitude ~ Day 17

  1. I am grateful for the moments when I question my value, as they let me know where the next opening within myself has become available and ready to approach...to approach through telling myself the truth, opening my Heart, and letting go of the illusions.
  2. I am grateful for all the love in my life.  I am surrounded by it everywhere I look.  When I'm loving myself, it's easy to see that it starts with me.
  3. I am grateful for clean sheets!  No matter how many moments, days, and years of getting into a bed made of fresh-from-the-laundry-sheets, that first moment of skin-to-sheets contact is bliss!
  4. I am grateful for all the smiles I see on people's faces, especially when they're unsolicited and arising for no particular reason.  They're contagious, courageous, and beautiful!
  5. I am grateful my eyes.  They have crisp, clear vision, and show me life in new and amazing ways each and every day.

Oh Mother, my Mother
Sweet, Dark Mother
Your scent fills my nose
like bouquets
that intoxicate lovers
knitting them in and through
each other for an evening
a whisper
as long as the scent lasts....

But Yours oh Mother
Your flower
never dampens
with the churning of time
through fields of wheat
green to yellow...
Your elixir
in so many cozy grains
of richer than auburn
deeper than brown
soil.

I am beginning to smell
your perfume through
nearly everything that
lives on your sun-kissed
surface.

Oh Divine Mother
Great whirling Dervish,
whipping my Heart
into an ignited
windy
blaze...

I can no
other way
bring You inside of me
than to toss away
this dream called me
this fiction called we
and anything other than
this
just this.

But when,
when oh sweet One
when it is
just this
I cannot revel
in the joy
of worshipping all of
Your forms
on the alter of
your sweet dark Earth.
